​I grew up in the Kansas City Missouri area were I was encouraged artistically from an early age.  I received a BFA from Northwest Missouri State University in 1996; I then went on to receive an MFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2000.  I now reside in Maryville Missouri where I am a wife, mother, studio artist and the Assistant Professor of Ceramics at Northwest Missouri State University.
